PayVibe https://payvibe.com White Label eCommerce Solution: Daily deals, Auctions, Gift Cards, Coupons, and Ticket Sales Platform Thu, 30 Jul 2020 17:32:32 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.5.2 COVID Strategies for eCommerce Companies https://payvibe.com/covid-strategies-for-ecommerce-companies/ Wed, 29 Jul 2020 19:04:28 +0000 https://payvibe.com/?p=12329 It’s safe to say that it is a weird time for everyone, everywhere, in all different types of industries. The e-commerce world, however, is one of the better suited industries to deal with a global pandemic where people aren’t leaving home and social distancing measures are in place.

e-Commerce sales will dominate as we head into Q3 and Q4 of 2020.

My prediction (and many others) is that Black Friday will be almost entirely done via online shopping this year.

Here are some strategies that we are finding that work.

Gift Card Offers

With millions of physical businesses struggling, now more than ever is a brilliant time to let help them sell digital gift cards to their establishments on your PayVibe site. You can decide to offer the gift cards at a discount or not. Currently, it’s probably best for the local merchants / business owners if the gift cards are not discounted. So for example, sell $25, $50, and $100 gift cards to a restaurant for $25, $50, and $100 respectively.

We recommend that our publishers add a new category on their site called Gift Cards (Site Settings >> Categories) and offer gift cards as a category to help out businesses as they struggle through these crazy and trying times. Extending expiration dates on your offer can help alleviate some of concern your subscribers may have in placing an order.

Rescue Operation

Launch an operation to rescue your favorite local restaurants in your area.  Selling Gift Cards to their businesses, listing their info, delivery and takeout info, etc.

Pick up or Delivery Options

When selling deals, gift cards, vouchers, or half off specials to establishments, be transparent in the order of operations. For example: Choose pick up or delivery only when placing your order. When calling to place your order, read off the voucher number. Call once you arrive to pick up your food / gear. Most businesses don’t have a huge following or a way to advise if they are open. In the offer write-up section in your admin panel, include every bit of pertinent information and establish the ground rules for the deal being crafted. Explain to the end customer how they can hold up their phone or voucher to the window when picking up their food so that the merchant can scan from outside the window.

Put together private offers that only your VIP Clients can order.

Put together private offers to enable subscribers to give donations to establishments or charities that they believe in; or just private offers to a Select Group of subscribers.

Deviate from your standard M.O.

Everyone is in scrapper / survival mode.  Share Pertinent Information.  Share official guidelines and CDC recommendations to your audience. If you only usually offer restaurant deals, don’t be afraid to offer golf deals.  If you only offer golf deals, don’t be afraid to offer restaurant deals, etc. Showcase musicians who are live streaming concerts in your markets.  Bring them into your studios (if that is allowed), sell their merchandise, etc. Certain offers can do better than others at the moment such as; farm offers, golf offers (that are still open).  board games, kayak / canoe / stand up paddle board trips, etc.

Notifications and banner ads

Use your notification spots to highlight specific businesses, give your customers needed updates, link to list of open businesses, CDC guidelines, etc.

Good luck.

PayVibe: The Company Formerly Known as Daily Deal Builder https://payvibe.com/say-hello-to-my-little-friend/ https://payvibe.com/say-hello-to-my-little-friend/#comments Mon, 26 Mar 2018 21:37:25 +0000 http://payvibe.com//?p=1 It has been a couple years since we’ve published a blog post (or done any marketing for that matter), but now is as a good of time as ever to change that process. Call it a COVID resolution if you will.

Over the past couple years we have been extremely busy growing, and by growing I mean on-boarding nearly every single publisher from the biggest competitor in our space who was acquired by a public company which subsequently terminated all their deals/voucher website contracts. All of our time and energy has been spent in updating our flagship product Daily Deal Builder and migrating our publishers to our new platform called PayVibe.

Changing a name isn’t easy, but the reality is that it has been done throughout the ages by businesses and artists of all sorts…

It’s doubtful that any of us would even know who Stevland Hardaway Judkins is; however, Stevie Wonder on the hand…

Reginald Kenneth Dwight?  Elton John.

Declan Patrick MacManus?  Elvis Costello.

Anna Mae Bullock? Tina Turner

Robert Zimmerman? Bob Dylan

David Jones? David Bowie

Remember The Artist Formerly known as Prince?

This list of artists goes on and on, and many businesses have also changed their name over the years.

Do you honestly think the following actors are really named Mindy Kaling, Nina Dobrev, Vin Diesel, Whoopi Goldberg, Tina Fey, Ice Cube, Michael Keaton, or Antonio Banderas?

The above listed artists changed their names to better encompass the artist they were and provide fans with a more memorable name.

Daily Deal Builder has been our name for the past 12 years or so, but the reality is that our platform is much more than just a daily deal or coupon platform.  It is a full e commerce platform and our name needs to reflect that.

PayVibe does just that.

So, ‘say hello to my little friend’ called PayVibe.  And by little friend, I really mean our crazy powerful, API based, new and improved e-commerce platform that handles the bulk of media companies e-commerce programs in the US and Canada.

From here on out, we will be referring to ourselves and posting over here on PayVibe in lieu of Daily Deal Builder.

I could keep writing a ton of great adjectives describing the slick new admin panel, powerful admin features, updated front end and merchant dashboards, but you might as well just check out an overview video of our platform:

What does PayVibe do and who do you help?

Publishers of all sorts utilize us to run an e-commerce store for their various markets.  Check out a few of our publishers:

The bulk of our publishers are in the Radio, TV, Newspaper, or Magazine world, but we also have a bunch of niche specific or very localized deal / gift card / coupon sites that  run their operations through our platform.

We set them up a website that is powered by our platform and they promote various offers to their markets.  Gift Cards, Deals, Coupons, Products, Events, Affiliate Offers, etc.  The sky is the limit.

PayVibe is a pure SaaS play.  We power voucher, deals, coupon, and gift card e-commerce sites around the US and Canada, and are starting to gain traction in Europe, Latin America, and beyond. Our clients, generally, are corporations with a built in audience.

Our clients are referred to as Publishers; they use our platform to create and input offers. Those offers are pushed out to their own customer base via email campaigns, radio ads, newspaper ads, social media campaigns, etc.  PayVibe does not broker these offerings. Our Publishers themselves work with their local community merchants to lock in offers, and then create those offers on our platform where they are sold.

Contact us if PayVibe seems like a solution that your company could utilize.  We’d love to have a chat with you and see if we are a good fit.  If we aren’t a good fit, we could still have a nice chat and say things like “hope you’re staying safe in this crazy weird COVID world we are living in.”
